Default Classic dash guage pod fitting...

I know some of you lot have your guage pods fitted to the bin on the top of the centre console so that you can still use the bin....

Ive managed to get the bin out, im just interested in how you secured the guage pod to the dash lid hinges? Looking at mine i really need to screw it in, but want to make sure its nice and secure....

There is a perfect guide on the p1 owners forum.
I cannot remember the members name but I am sure he posted some pictures of the mod on here too.

A thin bar bracket was made & screwed to the under side of the pod. The hinges of the pocket where then fixed to the bracket. Job done.

I would have posted a link but I cannot get on the p1woc site for some reason.

TSL used to do such a gauge pod, specifically to attach to the hinges...........
