Default Marks on drivers seat?

For some reason, I've started to notice tiny 'faded' patches on the drivers seat of my 02 WRX. I can't remember noticing them when I bought it a few weeks ago, but they seem to be getting worse and I just can't figure out why! Should I be wearing Teflon trousers in my scooby or something to prevent this deterioration?

Just wondering if anybody else has noticed a similar thing and whether anybody has any tips on how to make it stop! Other than that, the interior is absolutely immaculate.

Cheers!

Yip I have it on the drivers seat on my 05 WRX, think it was caused by the rain one day when I was getting out in the pouring rain. Tried using an upholstery cleaner but didn't do anything.

Also got them on them on my blue STI7/8 seats. If you find something that removes them let us know

Sweet! Good to know there's a solution. How much was the steam clean? How do you go about getting that done... ?

Cheers!

there is a guy that lives round the corner, he is a professional. i had just the front and back seats done for £25, not sure if he did the mats free or they were part of the price. i have a six year old daughter and have had the car 3.5 years so it was pretty grotty, looks really fresh now
