BBC NEWS | UK | Inquiry into 'contaminated' fuel

Very interesting.

Both mine and my girlfriend cars have deleloped misfires in the last week or two and we both use Tesco (near Gatwick).
Used Shell in hers the other day and the misfire has gone. I guess i might have cured my problem aswell

Very interesting

The past couple of months my car has felt like ****e....basically the WHOLE rev range is one giant flat spot...100% of my fuel is Tesco 99 from their store in Harlow Essex....my car is now so sluggish that its booked in with Mocom next Monday for a diagnostic...hmmmm.

Just read a couple more reports; seems to suggest it's not the high octane 99 that's affected?
