battery conditioners
As i only use my scoob at weekends mainly,the battery tends to loose its charge quicker than i would like,i realise this is down to the alarm,tracker,etc.
I have been told that a battery conditioner/charger would rectify this problem as the battery can stay put and the charger can be left on continuosly. anybody got one ?

I own a Westfield and use Halfords own battery conditioner on the Westfield and have done so for 18 months. It cost £30 and is excellent. The Westfield starts first time, every time. Well worth the money. It just tops up the battery every five minutes or so.

When I got back from my 2 week holiday in the summer the battery on my MY05 WRX was completely flat. I called out Subaru assist and the technician recommended a battery conditioner - but specifically said "don't buy a Halfords one"!!
After taking quite a bit of advice (lots from on here) I bought a CTEK 3600, see link: CTEK Battery chargers - MULTI XS 3600 - Features and benefits
It's absolutely superb - has lots of clever conditioning function and is fully automated. Highly recommended.

I have used an Accumate on my MY02STI for the majority of the past 3 years with no problems at all.
It comes with a waterproof connector which I have out to the front grill. The charger just plugs straight in to that without opening the bonnet; only takes a couple of seconds to connect, I use it every time I park the car at home.
I have even started the car a couple of times with it still connected , but it didn't even blow the fuse in the waterproof connector.
I would highly recommend it.

Has anyone tried this;
Solar Powered 12V Battery Trickle Charger
looks like a good bit of kit, I need to invest in something im having the same problem, only if solar panel outdoor lights are anything to go by then it could be a bit of a waste.
