I know I have harped on about Richard Burns getting sports personality of the year, but guess what?? coming off very delayed train last night, and through to car park at Reading Station, who is standing there by the turnstyles.... yep, none other than Richard Burns.

I did a double take at first, as I couldn't be elieve it, but I then shook his hand and congratulated him on his win.

Asked if it had been decided what he is doing next year. He informed me that he knows who he'll be driving for...

Anyway had a good chat with him, and would like to let you know that he came accross as a decent chap!

He may even take me out in my RUF Turbo R, as he has just ordered a 996 Turbo, and was interested in the RUF. Now that would be quite mad!!!!

Mark - It's a 993 Turbo R, and if you ever get the chance BUY ONE. 505BHP and 500 Lb/ft Torque! Funnily enough I have been toying with the idea of selling mine soon.

Plantie - Excellent plate, but have C1 RUF alredy. Maybe your friend should contact RUF in Germany, I'm sure they'll find a taker for it, and at a good price too.
