tinted windows, advice please
having just got my terzo back on the road, ( see hi to all an apology), i am thinking about window tints, but not sure if a) i should get them done and b) if i do what will look good without looking like a pimp-mobile?
anyone got any advice and or opinions on this.
also want to upgrade my brakes coz theyre pants, any suggestions for a budget of about 4-500 squids?

i wouldnt bother tinting them mate because the police are very strict these days about the front side windows beind tinted so all you would be able to tint is the rears and it would look pants..
i had a friend who had his tinted all round and the police stopped him and give him a £35 fine and 7 days to get the tint removed from the front windows! this is a serious pain in the *** because the glue they use is really hard to get off.

And U'd look like top D ICK,from dosser-towers.Keep em real.Yesterday 23:53
Anyway the requirements are:
You can have anything you like on the rear windows.....Limo tint
but they have to be legal on the front.
However if the "old bill" drive up to you.......just open your window....

including the tint already in window if any, the fronts must be no more than 30% tint, the rears can have what you like. So get the tint readings on front windows then minus from 30% thats what percentage tint you can add onto it while being legal. And you have to be accurate police had tools to measure this! the rears, as you please Vans dont all have rear windows so nout that can do about yours.

I had tints done on mine, quite subtle though, no limo shade for me.
Got a very mid light tint done on the fronts, mid on the rear and backs. Had no problem from the police as they still look legal (ish)
sure some jobsworth could pull me over, but so far no issues.
At the end of the day I have seen terzo's with and without and they both looked good.
as for the brakes, so much choice. Give ian a ring at Godspeed brakes, tell him your budget (including pads ) and I am sure he can sort you out.

Ive just had mine done and ive had nothing but good comments about them from people. The fronts on mine are legal and i went for a couple of darker shades for the back. Doesnt look to bad.
I got mine done to stop people ogling my new ice install, there a good way of keeping prying eyes out.
As for the police ive drove past loads and ive noticed they look but theyve never stopped me, they must just be admiring my scooby he he he.
Its up to you at the end of the day if you want them F**k it and get them. IMOA they make any car look good.
