Well after much discussions with the wife and the promise of letting her have a new pushchair for expected new arrival. I have finally put the deposit down for my 53plate WRX PPP. After getting quote for the car etc.... the cooper s is to make way for my new baby. Its a four door in the only colour (blue) looks and sounds mint. We are looking forward to some fun, especially agaisnt my uncle in his new FQ300.

Yes,

PPP = Prodrive Performance Pack

Basically a Subaru approved performance enhancement pack that can be dealer fitted and maintain full Subaru warranty.

Surely you can get a 3rd party company to retune etc etc?

The car is totally standard apart from the PPP kit. Its just had four new wheels and tyres due to a previous owner being unable to park. Its got a tracker fitted etc. Think my first planned weekend away in it will be the Welsh GB rally. Plus i want to see what it goes like compared to Uncles FQ300. And as for the colour well i had a choice as there was a black one, they look nice for about ten minutes after you wash them. After that they look bad.
