You're best off getting in touch with an expericed tuner like Zen Peformance and saying what you want (eg more torque from lower revs). They can then advise whether a twin scroll is necessary or if there are better ways to achieve what you want.

Your right of caurse, and yes id just be looking at extending the torque as low down the range as pos, not bothered about going beyond 320 bhp though.

I think you're barking up the wrong tree. A remap should make a considerable difference

Get a tek3 remap now, keep your warranty intact. You don't have to change anything on the car to benifit from the remap, it will smooth out the power delivery tons

If you've not already, get it ppp'd first, then a remap. Had my03 sti ppp, which was nice, but the remap afterwards made it awesome. Although that was with a few mods

Am i right in thinking a twin scroll wont fit a UK car anyway?

Had this confirmed by someone, twin scroll wont fit directly onto a UK car, without major modifications

Got PPP already, im just thinking of what i should save for in 2.5 yrs time, the tek3 would invalidate the warranty wouldnt it?, im not the sort of person who likes to cheat the system.

Hi

ZEROSPORTS Japan have produced a kit to convert a non twin scroll new age Impreza. The kit includes the following parts for conversion using an IHI TS turbo.

Exhaust Manifold for Twin Scroll
Turbine Support Pipe for Twin Scroll kit
Oil Pan Assembly for Engine
Oil Strainer Assembly for Engine
Baffle Assembly for Cylinder Block
Oil Level Gauge
Oil Pipe Assembly
Pipe Assembly for Turbo Charger
Water Hose
Super Metal Front Pipe
Exhaust Manifold Gasket
Exhaust Pipe Gasket for Front

This kit would be suitable for a JDM WRX or 01-02 STI but a Euro vehicle would also require a new centre & muffler exhaust section as the JDM front pipe is a different length.

I plan to fit this kit to an 06 or 07 Euro STI 2.5 when ZS finish developing a new Ball Bearing IHI AR/25 Turbocharger then ask Bob to custom map.

This is not a push for sales as the product is not yet ready & unlikely to set this up till next year sometime but would be interested in what people think.

Understand people have other way for power increase at less cost but think a 2.5 Euro TS turbo could be interesting if done well???

Regards

Andy
