hi

Never posted here before,hubby does.
What has happened.
Seems to have become a forum that advocates speeding, racing and general risk taking on the public roads.
In the past you had driving courses run by essex police!!
Enjoyed the odd meeting I went to.
Don't think I will be going again.

Don't be sad Lynn...

This is a very popular forum now, and with that popularity comes a variety of opinions and views - good and bad.

Not all of us advocate irresponsible driving.

You have to admit, Lynne does have a point. There has been an increase in "Maximum speed, nicked for this, nicked for that" type of posting. It is true, the majority of subscribers are real enthusiasts with real things to say, which I enjoy.
It might just happen that someone with a case pending comes on here, bragging about how they pulled a genuine 160 gets their posting used as evidence by the Bill? Whatever you say here is public knowledge for the world to see!

Cool

I totally agree with the opinion that driving on any cars limits in every day use is far from a cunning plan. However being new to the power of the beast that is the scooby as i've only owned this little beauty, mint MY97, for just over a week. I must say that having only previously experianced relatively low powered front wheel drive motors b4 it is already noticable scary how quick u can get 2 in the scoob without realising just how rapidly u r actually going. Erm but that said i do again totally agree with u that going OTT on her majesties highways is only generally practiced by total muppets! So no excuses really as i dont advocate overstepping a cars abilities but since this car clearly has a lot of ability that does still leave a large margin 4 abuse.

Lynn

Scoobynet never had driving courses, the SIDC used to.

Scoobynet and the SIDC are not linked.

Just thought i would clear that one up.
