Thats what a Forrester turbo is for not an Impreza turbo (for all you non-enthusiasts the Forrester turbo won the best towing car last year?? from the caravan association or something like that).

You may or may not have seen some attempts to get up to that sort of speed with a caravan using the RC developments Evo on top gear - didn't make it to 140mph despite having a slight 4-500bhp more than a PPP (although it was hampered slightly by a major engine failure )

That car has had more engine rebuilds than all of the P1's put together

Do you think a dump valve and a cocklink would give me more torque?
That was the biggest caravan we could get due to the manufacturer's weight limit.

There's a great story on the Lotus 7 Club Forums about one member of the L7 Club who was driving home in his scooby one night and he happened to pull up at some traffic lights alongside a Maxed-up Saxo. 'Saxo Dazza' shot away from the lights hoping to claim a major scalp, but wasn't too impressed when the Scooby kept up with him and slowly pulled out a lead............
Especiallly when he saw the Lotus 7 on a trailer behind it
I never towed with mine, but I'm told they're great tow cars (...don't flame me!) but I'd shudder to think what it does to the fuel consumption.

Fuel consumpion is only a few miles less to the tank due to an easy right foot!
The Scoob is a great towcar and very sure footed too.
All those who say they don't like caravans should try it and stop listening to Jeremy Clarkson!

I went shed dragging once for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it, one of the best holidays I had ever been on..
Would recommend cloud farm in oare (exmoor) to anyone wanting the most picturesque campsite in Devon
