Has anyone seen or got this video and know if it's worth watching - it's a possible Xmas present idea but i wanted to know if it was worth getting it? It's about (I think) a lap of the Nurburgring by Stefan Roser in a tuned 911.

Yeah, a tuned canary yellow RUF 911, at that. Awesome stuff, but IIRC the video is VERY short, but its the stuff legends are made of.

Mike
I've got a copy I won in a Performance Car competition several years ago.

It's good fun!!

I think it is still available (RUF were the tuner that did the car). I'll take a look over the weekend and see who the distributor was and let you know.

Awesome video, about 30minutes long, you have never seen car control like it.

The 'tuned 911' is THE 911 - Ruf CTR Yellow Bird. He da man

Fax RUF with order an CC details (specify PAL and 'Englisch' version) to Germany 0 82 65 12 13

Its about £25 with P&P

Rich.
Wanna start the 'Cossie Killer' fan club?
Anyhow, the aforementioned video of our trip to The Ring will be realeased before Christmas!!!
Apparently, one of the greatest Ring videos is 'In Car 956' from Duke. Care to lap with Derek Bell in 6m30ish?????

Stef.

I think the RUF UK website will be down for a while, as I think they have gone bust. A friend with a Carrera RS used to get his service there, but they have shut up shop and disappeared.

Sorry for hijacking the thread.
I've heard that there is a video of Senna in a F1 car, giving half a lap start to two 911 turbos, and still beating them across the finish line. Don't know anything else about the video, might not even exist!
Does anybody else know of this video?

Yeah, awesome video. Managed to get hold of this after a review on the back page of EVO

Loaded the video into the computer and top'n'tailed it to have just the one unadultered flying lap, then printed it out to video 4-5 times back to back

2GB for 14 minutes of film, hmmmm

Think the girlfriend's getting a bit bored now though

Promised myself to learn the whole circuit before my european debut

Just been to Duke Video website to look for Stef's recommendation of the 956 video (isn't there a Walter Rohl 911 GT3 video as well???)

When I saw this
