Aren't Type-R's the only 2 door scooby's....meaning they have 280bhp. Must been in an accident or something, to good to be true. Wheels look like SSR!!

only yankin your chain, The car in question is prob a ****ter and he has "accidently" given them the wrong photo. I had this when i was looking for my 1st scoob, the bloke did warn me it wasnt the actual car in the paper but was very similar. turned up to find something that looked like it had been in demolition derby a waste of a 80 mile trip

Didn't both the P1 and 22b start life as Type r's and were then styled accordingly ????

Not really

The 22B is in a world of its own for starters,

The P1 is simply a "UK" Type R tarted up with prodrive goodies

And of course we have the Type R which is two door but do remember. That you could get a 2 door WRX i.e. not STi, one or two members on here have them.

And last but least not, there is the 2.5 RS which is a naturally aspirated car and was not quite for the UK maket.

Hope that helps

Yes is the simple answer to that.

The end result of both is a far cry from the Type R though, especially the 22B.

The shell of the 22b is a Type R shell, but with a hell of a lot of work put into it.
