Default DVLA V5 Form

When I got my Impreza transfered onto me it took the DVLA a couple of months till I got the V5 on my name. But then I noticed that the Engine number is unknown ????? Could be possible for the Impreza to registered without documenting the engine number?

I got hold of the engine number which is near the intercooler, but I need something to show my local authorities proof that I have bought the engine. Instead of trying to deal with DVLA can soemone be kind enough that works with a Scooby specialist and issue me documentation that I have purchased the engine from them. Willing to pay a reasonable prie for it.

Well I can't register it without a documented engine number. And all I got is "Not Known" on the certificate. Has anyone got a direct phone number or an email to the DVLA which they respond on?

Imports mate..

According to the V5 on the other halfs classic, its a 1983 2.0 GL with no engine number and half a chassis number.

Just make the amendments and send it back..
