Not that I've ever done it like, but I cant see why it would! Changed a rad without removing it, so unless your getting a front intercooler.. I'd said no it doesnt!

But as its 3am and I know **** all about this.. 'll slump back into my chair and continue to watch the room spin

i would,it dosnt take long to remove and may save you scratching it.
also if your doing a 2.5 you may need an oil cooler and this would fit behind the bumper.

I've removed mine so I don't scratch the bumper... also... to get one of my FMIC pipes off... you have to remove the bumper unfortunatley...
The one that goes between the cam cover and rad... its alittle on the tight side... take it off... it ain't hard, you'll only be peed off when you damage it mate...

i was going to wrap cardboard and bubble wrap over the front and the wings for scratch protection. im not bothering with an oil cooler yet.

Don't waste time taking the bumper off. Totally unnecessary.
