newbie
just found the site after having my first scooby for about a year dont know much about them but im sure that if i have any questons somebody can answer so i just thought id say hi to everybody

You will not realise how infinately complicated these cars are to own!
You will also wonder how you havn't blown it up yet without a cocklink fitted or a correct oil change procedure!

Beware there can be a lot of negativity on this site
When i bought my first Impreza i was bricking it after visiting Scoobynet.
Thought the car would blow up if i put the wrong petrol in, wrong oil etc etc etc...........
What you got to remember is that a lot of the posts on here are from people with problems, you never get people piping on about how great and reliable their car is.

My car has been fab.
Not a days trouble.
Runs on 95 ron petrol and I don't **** about with it.
Only go under the bonnet when the windscreen washers run out.
A cocklink will only make you paranoid.
(btw, I drag a caravan with it at weekends)

welcome read the advice but when it comes to money get an expert plenty good ones about. enjoy your car i had lots of hot and very hot cars, but love the scoob 05 STI PPP no cocklink but plenty of hard driving mick.
