Another Newbie
Hi Folks
Same as a few other newbies, I have wanted a scoob for a long time but never seemed to get round to it. Been on bikes for ages and got a Z750 and a VOR Supermoto for fun.
So, trunks on, plunge taken and came home yesterday with a MY03 WRX in Metallic Green, FSSH and 14k on the clock. Much better than the previous Volvo S60.
Looks like a mine of useful info on here, and I am looking forward to the banter and p%%s taking as much as anything else.
I am a bit disappointed though, as after a quick search through the forum I discovered that filling up with BP Ultima yesterday was a big mistake (bugger), and buying the impreza was a bigger mistake as apparantly I should have bought a Golf Diesel
Cheers, and the virtual beers are on me
Tony aka Fluffy
PS, Whats a cost effective route to liberate the boxer burble short term as the slush fund is running up for the PPP....

Interesting though. Didn't realise that the MY03 was available in met green.... Thought is was only the bugeye....
Incidentally, BP Ultimate is OK, but most WRX and STI owners swear by Optimax.
And don't worry, a Golf Diesel can only ever be a second car....

Good choice of bike's sir, as for your exhaust,
A: Take a hacksaw to the back box, or
B: Try haveing a look on the part's/ accessorie's page's, there's probably quite a few kicking around in there somewhere.
Oh and welcome .

I was thinking about bringing my angle grinder out of retirement for the back box.... Z750 is a fun tool, I came down from litre class bikes and it's been a hoot chasing down the odd one or two litre bike's with the "little" Zed. The VOR is just pure lunacy, uncomfortable, impractical, but mad as a pair of trousers
