has anyone got any pics on how much of the centre consol u have to cut out to fit a uk size radio in an classic import as jap size is 170mm and a uk radio is 180mm wide or can u buy some kind of kit so it fits into the cage as its all in one bit and the plastic bit is also smaller to

all DIN (UK) size radios fit straight in to a jdm classic, do not use the cage that is supplied with the UK stereo or the little clip-on plastic front. The Subaru centre console has to come out of the car, it has loads of holes drilled in it. Put the stereo into the console and some of the holes on the side of the stereo will line up with some of the subaru ones. Some stereos come with bolts supplied some dont, if not the stereo will have written on the side what size bolts to use, should be M5 bolts 8mm long, if you cant find any 8mm long there is room for longer ones just put 2 nuts on to space it out a bit.

thx for your help m8 bought myself a motorized screen and a dvd player that plays everything and u can use playstatioin and xbox on it 250£ well nice off ebay from hong kong new
