Newbie!
Hello guys,
Looks like a lively forum!
I have just purchased a WRX STi on an 03 plate in black. Should be getting it in the next 10 days! Can not wait.
I had a Civic Type R, lots of fun, but just not enough grunt for my liking hence the change.
Here she is - http://www.mad-als.com/temp/scooby.jpg

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
I live in Wokingham btw.
Huuum, a few references to preparing to have your wallet emptied! Is this because it is impossible to resist changing and modding, or because the cars need lots of money spending on them with services etc.
I know it is not going to be a cheap car to run around in, but are these unreliable or something that they need lots of work doing on them?
I will PPP one day in the future, but for now I think I will leave it all alone, including the wheels, I like them!
That is SGT, are they good for servicing, they seem nice enough people. I have the Bulldog near me, but I keep hearing bad things about them so I am not sure if I should go there.

Only used SGT's for the first service so far and to get PPP added to my WRX but I've been very impressed with them so far. Very nice friendly bunch there and seem genuinly interested and willing to help. I wasn't very keen on Bulldog either when I was buying the car - didn't seem to be very switched on at all..
Re the cash it's a combination of always having the temptation to upgrade bits and bobs plus the propensity to consume large amounts of optimax which tends to empty peoples wallets at an alarming rate

Hi Pants. Wellcome
The wallett emptying is all to do with Mr Doo's drink problem. Likes to drink Optimax in copious quantitys, at regular intervals.
Its all good fun, you can get on first name terms with the garage staff, and possibly be invited to their christmas doo. LOL

Mate, I am single as of 5 months ago! So no more spankings for me, I can give you a photo of a self scooby spanking if you like, but I am not sure you would appreciate that.......

Mr P.
I can confirm that SGT are very good. They've always been very helpful whenever I've used them (particularly when I had a problem with my PPP).
It is a bit far for you to go though.
Anyway - nice car - welcome!
P.S. Dont forget to wave at other Scoob drivers (but not non-turbos )

Thanks for the welcome French Boy.
UKSTi, can I ask why you switched?
I have heard from a couple of people that they are not very helpful, however, from your comments I may try them one day and see. I would rather use Bulldog because they are just down the road from me.
