Question Cardata ??

Anyone heard of them??

Advertised the scoob on autotrader and keep getting phone calls from this company.

For a oneoff fee of 80 squid they advertise to people who they offer finance to, when its sold i get 60 squid back.

Anyone had dealings with them??

Don't do it. You'll never hear from them again once you've paid your £80 (until you advertise another car, that is)

Biggest waste of money ever, stay well away from companies offering to sell your car, if I'm buying a car, the only places I'd look are firstly Autotrader, Top Marques, ebay and maybe Exchange and Mart, I used them a few years ago and would never make that mistake again.

CARDATA AND OTHER AGENCIES DO NOT WORK

CARDATA AND OTHER AGENCIES DO NOT WORK
I used Autotrader to advertise my last Scoob, and I used to get bombarded by about 30 phone calls a day from Companies like them offering to sell my car. Even when I told them to f*ck off and that I wasn't interested, they would still phone back! Even telling them I had sold the car didn't work!!!! They would say they had lots of people interested in my car. Well if the buyers were interested in a car, they would use Autotrader and phone me direct!!!! NOT through an agency! I wouldnt advertise another car in Autotrader again for this reason.

Make sure you're fully registered with http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/ (ie, wait the 28 days after registration) and if they call you in future, report them and they can be done for it big style.

What Harvey said. The problem is not only are they very persistent but you could miss a potential buyer through being so pissed off with the phone ringing from these 3rd party cowboys that you stop answering the phone!
