Default SELLING WITH CARDATA

Hi there could anybody tell me if they have had any experiences with a company called cardata.co.uk. I am selling my scooby and they have contacted me saying they are a finance company who find buyers for sellers. They told me they could get a very good price for my car by providing finance for someone to buy it. Not sure whether they are genuine though any comments would be welcome you can check out there website at Cardata - buy or sell used second hand vehicles online england wales scotland !!!
thx

It's a con don't bother or ring them and tell them that you will pay DOUBLE their fee when they succesfully sell you car for you. My bet is they won't take you up on the offer and will likely just hang up on you.

type cardata scam into a google search...........

They pester everyone. They tell you that x amount of people are hunting for a car like yours and can sell it within hours! Never used them to sell but imagine they are decent as they do email/contact a lot of people. I used them to search for a previous car and they emailed me loads! Ones I couldn't even find and it didn't cost that much(Can't remember exactly) I think if they help sell your car, you will PAY for it

Stay clear. Waste of time and money. If there is someone near you who wants a car like yours they will have found it already in the autotrader all by them selves.

Avoid like the plague, these people have a bad history do a search you will find loads of threads about them over the years.

I got taken in by them many years ago and had a long drawn out problem getting my money back from them.

Avoid. I got duped years ago. Not a sausage from them once I'd parted with my cash. Offer to go halves of the insertion fee with the salesman if he gives you details of one of the many local customers eager to buy your car and wait for the response....
