Question

Reading other threads a few people mention these 2p vouchers, usually at Esso or Shell.
Where can I get these? Is it a loyalty bonus thing?

cheers

I have, in my grubby little mits, one of the vouchers. It's from Esso and gives 2p off every litre of fuel at next purchase.

As far as I know it's not part of any loyalty scheme as I was just handed them when I, begrudgingly, handed over my large pile of cash to the government, sorry, I meant the cashier at the petrol station

I have 1 right here valid till 15th Aug that I shan't be able to use. It's worth £1 on a 50L fill up. If anyone works in the docklands, therefore can pick it up, it's yours!
Cheers

Cool

As said above, 2p off vouchers from ESSO on first fill (or, find a friendly garage, and tell them they forgot to give you one last time) - at worst, if you're filling up your scoob, and you're tight - I mean fed up of paying too much - put £15 of fuel in, pay, get voucher, fill rest of car up using voucher, and get another for next time

Shell,
Get a points card - you'll need it (loyalty thing, not a credit card, which they also offer). Use 25 points for 2p off per litre. Since this may be a bit late for the current offer, phone shell (0800 006008 or 0800 010100) and ask for some 2p off vouchers - they sent me 4 as it takes time to get a card. These can be used in all shell stations displaying 2p off for 25 points, although they may not realise they accept it. If they say no, get them to call shell cust services for confirmation - if cust. serv. closed, you have a choice (this is getting heavy, is anyone still reading - nope - oh well) pay full price, or explain that they are wrong, you will pay what you owe, and leave your details - they cannot refund 2p a litre after the event. OR check your local shell first, and have cust service call them if they don't understand. Ok, I'll get me coat (anorak and note pad)

IMHO the 2p at Esso is a total rip off

Superunleaded at a lot of Esso's in Reading 89.9p

Shell 86.9p - and I dont have a Shell card - but will get, following fuel problems with Esso - dare I say Ron 95 substituted for Ron 97!

Yeah, I must confess I succumbed to the 10p off per litre deal at Safeway recently, after vowing never to use supermarket petrol. Saves almost a fiver a fill. To be honest, couldnt tell the difference between the supermarket stuff and my regular Esso.

I have loads of the Esso vouchers as I fill the company car up every day and then use the vouchers for my Evo.

For the guy in Reading, short trip to Yateley will find Esso SUL at 85.9.

Usually the Esso in Shinfield is cheap as well.
