BEWARE!! - Birmingham
I would be VERY interested to hear from others who might have attempted to purchase from this company - successful or not.
FRIDAY:
After posting an ad on Find-a-Part for a rear light, I had two responses. One from a company that offered the part for £65 plus P+P, then a second from for £65 all in….BRILLIANT!! (I thought).
Anyway, because it was them who phoned me, I went through all the usual safety precautions, like visiting their web site phoning them back on the number the web site provided….everything seemed cool.
We discussed the part in detail, to the point where I wanted him to retrieve it, and confirm there wasn’t any visible damage (which he didn’t do for me, but assured me everything would be fine). I kept emphasising the importance of obtaining the part by Monday/ Tuesday at the latest (as my pride and joy is in the garage for some mods). Again, all seemed well…
SATURDAY:
Had a phone call about my card details, apparently they needed more numbers off the back of my card…ok not a problem, we all make mistakes
MONDAY:
No part…Phoned to find out where it was…should be with me First thing Tues, sir…Ok, cutting it a little fine, but no probs.
TUES:
Still no part…. phoned again…sorry sir, was it near side or off side?!?!
WED:
Phoned them…apparently there was a query (within the company) about the light, (of which I was totally unaware of) so they stopped the package in transit!? – can you do that?
I was told that it should be in my local area!? Which later I discovered was a load of rubbish.
I was asked to phone this number…then another… past around from pillar to post.
After making contact with the guys in the yard I eventually discovered that they even had the year of my car totally wrong!?
And still the part had not been sent!!!!!!
This was too much!…. I instantly requested a refund and cancelled the part.
THURS:
Checked my bank account and discovered they had withdrawn another £65!!!!!!
At this point I was Fuming!!!!
Pick up the phone again…The telephone call deteriorated into an ‘F’ing and blinding match, and ended with the ‘sales’ man slamming the phone down on me after a Racist comment, “I’ll take you white **** for all you got”.
I phoned back and spoke to the Manager (I think) and again the conversation got heated and ended with him saying…“what are you gonna do about it…what proof have you got we didn’t send!!!”
At this point I phoned the bank to file a claim for fraud (the second £65 withdrawn without consent).
I am still waiting on my £130 refund.

NOTE I'm NOT implying that there is a link with the mentioned company.
I'm just pointing out it's not a good area if you get my drift
