Cool Urgent advice please re best added security

Going to Lakes tomorrow and parking in middle of nowhere - what are best off the shelf additional security deterrents for Blobeye

Sensible advice only please - have to go out and buy it shortly!

remove spark plug leads
or buy one of those disklock, goes around the whole steering wheel
or even better both.
good luck, jammy git on your hols ?
got a cottage with open fire?

Disclok is good but being in the middle of nowhere should help.

I can't see a lowlife wanting to put that much effort into finding your Scooby in the Lake(s)

Park it somewhere visible so it deters the opportunists, any visual deterrent is better than none. All the obvious really - don't leave anything inside the car that could be nicked - CD's etc.

Not relevant for your hols, but I have a retractable hardened steel post on my drive, and a steering wheel lock etc etc.

I wouldnt put a disk lok on if its parked outside my house or where im staying. They come along, they get in , they cant get the lock off so they and find you to get it off for them. If they want it let them have it but you dont want them coming to you for sure.

thank you kind sir - you are right - cant beat a good fry up -- Halfords just offered a 'small' type 350 -390 mm all enclosing one for £90 Thatch Cat3 - is this the one to go for?! - Thats 3 or more night B&B ?!!

Tiredeyes - judging by your name - you need to get up there as much as me!

good advice - will use it in remote car parks and keep an eye open!

i have a small on my STI but i cant remember paying 90 quid


think i paid about 65 IIRC

errr, what stops you from driving with it fitted????????? - not a lot - I can! (granted not quite so convenient)
