Hair dryer angle the nozzle about 1-1 1/12 inches away and when nice and warm use a credit card or rounded plastic and ease it off, best way to avoid any paint loss, IMHO

'Sikaflex' is a b*stard to get off; way beyond what a hairdryer or even a heat gun can help you with..... That said if theyd used Sikaflex the kit would probably still be bonded on.

Uh ho - sikaflex

- know it well and the only sucessful way I've known is to scrape it off with screwdriver/chisel.

Just be thankful you never got the stuff on your hands....or leather seats

The bodyshop glue and tar remover I've got doesn't work on sikflex - I've already been there and tried that

Once you start to get it to peal by chiseling it- depending on how thick it its you should be able to pull the rest off by hand. But be very slow.

It will come off eventually, but it's pretty ineveitable that you may chip or scratch the odd bit in the process.
