Hey all. Getting my first scooby next week from IN THE STICKS. I can't wait.
So far so good, got insurance quote from Churchill which was fairly reasonable with elephant at the mo, they want a hundred quid untill my insurance runs out at the end of next month(had a 3series bmw,no end of problems with that car). Will see what renewal they give me first. Who do you guys use.

Welcome mate, had a MY00 UK turbo for a couple of years, now got an MY02 STi type UK. Grin every time I drive!
Have fun and have a look at SIDC.co.uk, massive meet in Alton on Sunday about 150 scoobs if you can make it!

And your problem is..............? bring em along. big kids love scoobies, wee kids stand and stare open mouthed at scoobies and the burble of the flat four engine puts toddlers to sleep, job done. plus you get to see alot of nice cars, to make you even more frustrated at not getting your car sooner.
cheers

I like your thinking. But still a no no this weekend. Little girl got dancing comp. I'd be divorced before I get my scooby let alone when I've got it if I came.

She is actually all for me, getting the scooby. I was well shocked. I had been to IN THE STICKS to have a look and test drive. Walked in at 11.30pm to find her still awake, and she said "you've bought it haven't you ? "
It must have been the big silly grin on my face.......

My girlfriend is so fed up of me talking about Scoobies and I haven't even got it yet. I think I'm doing about 150 scooby related words a an hour
Although I had the same grin after my test drive. I phoned or text everybody I know telling them I'd bought a scooby...even an ex who was on holiday in Greece!
Anyway got loan though today just waiting for new log book...it says it can take 4-8 WEEKS. Nooooooooooooooooo!
Enjoy your car matey.
