hi guys, im new here and after some info on different scooby models. i currently own a mk4 ukTT supra and n/a gto. im now looking at getting a scooby. i have around the £8k mark to spend and ideally would like a wrx sti. what version of the sti would £8k buy me? also how does the uk spec compare to an sti or doesn't it. i will try and get along to the alton meet on sunday to have a look at your cars and have a chat as im only about 20 mins away.
is there a site/link somewhere that compares different models?

Look at importing one yourself direct from Japan, You could get a good STi RA (280BHP) for £5/6k with plenty money left over for Mods

Compared to UK they come better powered (UK - 208/215) and better spec!

i did actually look at the STI RA but arent these stripped of things like the stereo etc? thats why ive opted for the wrx sti. do you think it would be possible to get a version5 for that money or is that a bit optimistic?

A version 5 should be possible. I got my V3 for £5,500 just 2 months ago. See www.whitewrxsti.co.uk That's my car, with the info the previous owner put up. May be some bits to help there.
