Default Fuel Consumtion

I'm going to be travelling to Lancaster from Aberdeen this Friday and was wondering what sort of mpg to expect doing motorway driving. I drive a MY02 wrx. I'm guessing I'm going to have to fill up a couple of times on route?

On my recent trip up to Edinburgh from near Liverpool, I managed to do it on a full tank

mine is a classic, but that there road from the M74 to Edinburgh is too good to drive in economy mode

On a pure motorway run, ive had 350 miles to a full tank, keeping it at a steady 80-85

There have been countless threads on here about this recently, you're best to do a search.

Mine did 24-27 mpg on the motorway.

I'll be well chuffed if I get 350 miles out of a full tank! Should nearly get down on one tank if thats the case.

The most i ever had from mine was about 310 miles, then the light came on.

The average was 270-280 miles.

Petrol is a bit of a sore point

I left the house, stuck 15 quid of BP ultimate to get me to a shell garage I managed 70 miles on that, then just before going out on track I had done 40 miles on a full tank of Optimax, so I had a pretty full tank to start the session

When I got home (its about 140 miles) I have less than a quarter left !!!

Still it was good fun on track again

No grip on the tyres for the first couple of laps, but once I had settled down it was good, apart from overshooting a few corners

and getting understeer, and tyre screeching in Brooklands
