Last of the classics or an 03 WRX ?
Purchase of the Forester turbo s, fell through, similar story re tax as seen on another thread, so now thinking of an Impreza. Whats the best to drive a really nice, low mileage, well cared for classic, I reckon on about £9k or a £15k O3 WRX ?
Views welcome, have to say driving the 'ring last weekend played a part in rejecting the forester and deciding it is going to be an Impreza !
So, money is not the issue, which is the better drive ?

They are very different cars to drive, you cant listen to other views the only thing you should do is to have a long/decent test drive in both and decide for yourself!
that said, its got to be a classic

R4 Rick. I faced the same choice. Having driven both I can say, In a nutshell, that:
The original turbo is more aggressive, exciting and also feels quicker. It's also better looking.
Newer WRX looses a bit of the excitment and speed, but is significantly more refined, has a much better interior, and feels generally more solid.
You pay your money, you make your choice- very much depends on what kind of driving you generally do and what you're looking for in a car! Drive them both mate. Either way, get a well cared for example and you've got a cracking car!
I went for a classic, BTW.
All the best
