Default Unknown display icon whilst accelerating

I was accelarating hard round a corner just now when a display icon appeared and then disappeared. As I was accelerating I could not see what it was so have looked in the manual. From reading it (for the first time) I believe it could be the coolant spray. Can anyone verify this. If it is, how do fill it up and is it good for anything. My manual is in French unfortunately.

Was the light orange? Could be the I'C water spray.

Just out of interest, do Scoobies have any form of electronic traction control? If so, it could be that lighting up.

Your coolant spray tank should be in the boot on the drivers side ,there's a hatch/flap you open to get at the tank....

as you go round corners hard the water tank empties till it reaches the point it lights up telling you to fill up but only on corners as some leaks back and the sensor is not triggered anymore-it happened to me as i was flying round a corner at 80 and i suddenly saw this light flash on then off and i thought OH F~CK but the tank was empty phew

I don't mean to sound patronising, but how can you own an STi and not know that there is an I/C water spray that has a reservoir tank that might need to be filled up from time to time?

Still Melina.

I don't know whether a scoob does or does not have electric traction control. Most cars that do have a dash light that flashes/comes on when the traction control is doing it's stuff. Given that you said you were cornering hard it was a valid suggestion.

How can you make 5000+ posts on Scoobynet and not know whether a Scoob has traction control or not....
To answer your question, no Scoob has traction control.

Simple, I'm not a big scooby fan and have never owned one. I'm here for other reasons (muppeting normally ).

Anyway, I'm aware that older scoobs don't have TC but for all I knew the new ones might have since most cars do these days, I really don't keep up to date on trivialities such as whether a scoob has TC or not hence my original post I asked if it had TC or not.

The driver controlled part is an electromagnetic clutch which progressively "sticks" the front and rear outputs together, providing a slip limiting function and increasingly counteracting the rearward bias of the diff."

lol, Works best if you have been out on the p1ss he night before. If you top up the IC bottle with the wee as the alcohol evaporates off it gives the intercooler a lower temp
