Exclamation Everybody please read!!!

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but I was given a copy of this today:

This information was sent to me so please pass this on to anyone you know.

We have received a warning at the London Ambulance Service and have been asked to pass on the information to all our families and friends.

The London Ambulance Service have units closely associated with the Police "D.A.R.E." squads based in South London who are basically fighting Gang Crimes.

The "Street Gangs" in London have initiation tasks which new gang members have to carry out to be admitted to the "gang". The latest craze is to drive around, deliberately with no lights on their cars. The first person who "flashes" them, points at them or sounds their horn at them, has to be followed by that new gang member in their car, who then has to fire a shot into that vehicle with no regard to who is inside!!!

Our official instruction is that if we see a vehicle with no lights on, we are NOT to "flash" it etc. and the advice to friends and family is that you should ignore any vehicles you see without lights.

Please pass this on - it may save a life.

This is pretty worrying reading - how many cars do you see driving around with no lights? and your first reaction is to flash them....

Urban myth, saw it mentioned in a hollywood movie a couple of months ago.

Would have no worries flashing a motorist who forgot to put on lights as this sort of thing just doesn't happen.

The Army would drive round at night some times with no lights on down on the border at night. Dont know about following you home and shooting into the car bit. But I think its to do with sneeking up on young couples in the throws of passion.

I woke once in a bath of ice having been brought back to a strange girls house. There was a sign saying do not move, I looked down and they had extracted a kidney from my personage to be sold on the black-market.

Sorry but the story that started this thread was in the film Urban Legends as it is an urban legent, which means its a legend from urban places...

If you posted it with genuine sincerity then apologies for my sacrcasm but hey its Friday, whaddoo I care "flash flash"

Pele, did you know that the word "gullible" has been removed form the next edition of the Oxford dictionary.

Maybe you want to warn others about this as well.

I think that Pele should be thanked rather than ridiculed as whether or not some of you believe it there are some sick freaks in this world who will have no hesitation in doing such things.

Maybe by not believing this you are the gullable one's.

Thanks Pele.

It's true you never know what may happen. The point here is that is a myth not founded in actual events.

It's also pretty clear that an organisation like the London Ambulance service or the police would not put out a notice urging motorists not to warn anyone who is driving at night without their lights on, on the grounds that it might save a life.

But there's one area you have all not mentioned yet.

If this is the case, you have this young gang member (**** end) trying to follow you in his extra fast Nova (LOL, as if there's one out there that can be called fast) , with plastic bricks stuck on all over the place,. been a right Chaver.

Note!!
We are all here in Scooby land, yes!!,,,,,,, come on think, Nova v Scooby, thats 30bmp V 320bmp more and more power. What chance has that _osser got in turning round and catching you, errrr none. see ya looser!!

I find it ever-so hard to flash another car while I'm driving, I keep getting my tackle suck, flapping in the wind... FLash Flash....
It's Friday, thank god and soon to finish for the day, time to play. yipee

Thats my bit............oh, good job we don't have gangs in Wiltshire, they are all busy chasing the sheep at night...lol.... so you are all wlecome to visit, knowing that once you've been able to catch you date for the night, max speed while strapped to Flossy is a massive 18.3245mph, you should be safe.

As mentioned this week Pele, the first person to post after your initial post is also in danger now of a "drive by posting" by yourself to allow your initiation into the "venomous post gang"

Good luck, go get him.

Kob999- You better lie low for a bit.

I always check any emails warning of anything through a website called Break The Chain. They came up with this,

http://www.breakthechain.org/exclusi...ightflash.html

When I entered lights and gang as search criteria.

Default Initiation ceremonies - beware!

Just had an E-mail from the wife at work in the local authority where they have recieved a communication from the ambulance service describing a sinister initiation ceremony that prospective new members of gangs (south London was mentioned) are required to perform.
The idea is to drive at night without lights and anyone who flashes, waves or gestures is chased and is shot at through the window! It has been recommended that you should not flash any cars who do not display lights at night. Even makes you wonder about flashing or waving to other Scoobs now!!
This is no wind-up apparently, so for Gods sake take heed guys.
What a super world we live in????
