Unhappy Confused newbie

Hello all,

First post so pls be gentle. I have a GJ02*** Impreza WRX from new and the only mods are replacing the bug eyes with different headlights.

Apart from trim rattles I am very happy with my car at least until today when I was joining the A2. I was second in line on the slip road and lights changed, went down slip road being held up by skoda octavia 1.6. We were doing about 40 when we joined the dual carrigeway and I pulled out and put my foot down but the skoda pulled away from me. WTF? The skoda was not RS and i dont think even rs should have been that fast and looked on normal high suspension.

I overtook eventually but only in 3 figs.

Also warranty nearly up and thinking of chipping any ideas?

James

5th gear last night a Skoda Favia diesel beat a mini coopper round the Anglesea Circuit by just over half a sec, mind you it was the vRS.
