Other things to consider is that they are more likely to throw goodies in than drop the price, unless they want shot. If they can keep the price close to posted then it looks good on thier records. When I got mine (MY00 Wagon) I wanted some extras and so paid what they asked, got the PX on my car bumped up a bit and got about £1000 or so of extras and warranty thrown in. So all in all I was happy

Is the dealer an independent or part of a bigger franchise? It's always worth trying an offer at the end of the month when they're closing the books. January is traditionally very quiet so it's certainly worth a punt.
