Apart from the likes of Die Cast Legends and AutoArt, BBurego (sp?), are there any other decent quality models of Imprezas around?
I know there are models of the 22B, various rally versions, a Police car, a Type R (I think) and the bugeye...
Just wondered if anyone had acquired other ones...

yeah i see what you mean, i bought a mini cooper model, made by autoart last week and i must say that it is superb. I dont want to get anything unless its at least that good.
I would post the web site but i cant remember what it was!! it was a place in kent though. and the model was about 45 quid inc shipping.

I've been looking for a die-cast model of a grey type r, but to no avail.
I even got my brother in law (who lives in Tokyo) to look for me but he can't find any either

Duck pond, I think you are being a bit unfair about IXO models I bought a WR Blue My01 diecast model and the quality and detail for the size is superb. In fact, they make the models for SWRT.com

AutoArt are by far the best quality and most "realistic".
They have fully "carpeted" interiors, "suede" seats and the most detailed engines etc, I have ever seen
I have a 22B and a classic, and even the 4 pot on the classic has the "SUBARU" on it.
Amazing, well worth the money.

Apologies Yorkie - I was only going on what I could see from the pic of the model.
I have a fairly large collection of model cars, in a variety of scales, and I also agree that the Auto Art ones are the best. I have the 22B and the Tommi Evo 6 rally car in the 1:18 scale, and the level of detail is superb. Quite tempted by the Esprit models, and the Audi Quattro too.
UT models seem pretty good too - have a McLaren F1 and M3 Evo of the same scale, both with great attention to detail.
Ah t!ts. Just been on Die Cast Legends' site. Now I want about 5 more models. There's a great Sierra Cossie on there now.

In Hong Kong, the following brands offer diecast Subaru models:
AutoArt (1/18,1/43)
Carisma (I think 1/64, very very nice models similar to Herpa)
Tomica (1/64, toy car)
Ixo (1/43)
Trofeu (1/43)
Ebbro (1/43 classic Subarus)
Epoch (1/43)
