Hello all ...
As the BBS has now grown quite large we are looking at burning a run of CDs. We have found some software that acts as minibrowser and will run directly from the CD.
Would you be interested in purchasing this if it was made available?
What would you consider as a reasonable cost?

Sounds good to me.
I think PeteT is right, around a tenner is about the right price.

10 quid sounds like a bargain. But is that enough to make it worthwhile for it to happen? Webmaster, What figure were you thinking of?

Why not do 2 per year, maybe by subscription so you can offer a discount if you pay in advance for a years (or even 2) worth in advance.
Anyway count me in.

Need to look at the replication costs ... The problem, as always, is that people say they want it, you spend the money to have them cut, and then they dont want them.
Potentially I may work it on people send us a cheque, once we get say 50 cheques Ill have the CDs burnt. If not, then the cheques will be returned.

I'm in. Especially as I e-mailed you with this idea a while ago
I'm sure you had already thought of it though.

Hi
can I just ask whether using a web page grabber such as nearsite or discopump would
suffice or are there advantages to using a CD instead.
