Talking

That would be funny to see LOL, cant see the point myself. Best toy I have is electric fold in wing mirrors, always get a laugh from passengers and other road users .

I have those and they are really useful for when you park on a road - saves the mirror getting swiped by passing cars.

I think the bonnet scoop was bullsh!t though...

Folding mirrors are standard fit to late model JDM cars. I dont have a bright switch though.

maybe the adjustable bonnet scoop is for icy weather, so you can adjust it all the way round to face backwards and clear you windscreen quicker

No, it's not adjustable that way, it's up and down, so you can grab more/less air...
supposedly...

Looks like either your mate or the salesperson didn't know what the I/C water spray is good for...?

Adjusting the scoop would mean either more air or less air...and who wants less air anyway?

The IC water spray on mine seems to be pointing in the wrong direction, every time o squirt it, it goes all over my windscreen!

I am sure what was meant was the variable difusers inside the new MY03 STi vent. They are new in order to put more cold air across more of the intercooler area.
