Ok the new wrx front lid is alu not steel, But a couple of time i have seen the thing change shape whilst traveling at speed.

I have found my eyes are looking at the lid rather than the road.

Any other 03 owners seen this phenon** eh problem.

yep.. at < 40mph I can see the line of the front right wing... > 40mph it starts to vanish... the bonnet is being pulled up by the scoop.

actually there is quite serious bonnet wobble on the MY01/02 models at any decent speed too - it's quite normal and as you say is just 'cos of the aly bonnets.

if you want to see REAL wobble you should see the state of my STi5-style spoiler in the rear-view mirror on the motorway! ...makes me feel sea-sick

actually i think it's funny ... i wonder what people think looking in their rear-view and seeing it
