Exclamation

I've noticed a strange 'wobble' in my '02 WRX when driving over 70mph. It's not transfered through the steering wheel but feels as if the body is floating left and right. This only seems to occur at high speed and in a straight line. When at lower speed and while turning, it's rock solid. Has anyone experienced this or know what might be causing it?

It's a US stock 4-door sedan.

Probably the most likely cause of this is a combination of tyres and geometery. I had the same problem with Avon ZZ1 tyres, which i then swapped to P-Zero's. Also had the geometery done yesterday at TSL and the car drives unbeleivably well now, very sharp turn in, no tramlining. Little adjustments make all the difference. I know you can't get to TSL from the US but if you email them they will give you the settings and you could get the work carried out over there.
One word of warning, when my car was behaving like yours i lost it on a low speed bend but fortunatly never hit anything so go carefully until it is fixed.
