Sports car collector Jay Kay has reportedly picked up luxury motor number 14, and trust us, it's a beauty. The singer, 33, forked out £425,000 for a 220mph Ferrari in Maranello, Italy, reports the Sun. It is the latest one of 399 special edition Enzo models. The Jamiroquai frontman has an impressive fleet of cars at his Buckinghamshire home, including seven Mercedes, a Bentley and Lamborghini. His ex Denise Van Outen once said he got more excited about cars than sex.

 

 

Can you imagine how chuffed you woulld be if they had just handed you the keys to that thing and said 'drive it home, very fast, to your enormous mansion, then park it alongside the rest of your fleet of the world's finest cars!' Some people make me sick (not even a hint of jealousy!).

Already had him eye up the car a few years back whilest walking through a town centre with Denise, having just jumped out of his black Brabus G Wagon

 

He's a top bloke as well, I met him at Newcastle Riverside in the early 90's before he hit the bigtime and had a great weekend partying with him, the crew and his gaggle of groupies.

I recently met him at a book launch schmooze and not only did he remember me but invited me back to his table for a few drinks.

Top bloke ,top cars, top birds!

 

Think it makes it worse when they're nice blokes.

 

No doubt he'll be posting on this forum reqesting advice on shell Optimax!! (hehehe)

 

Or advice on going through the 'twisties (©Scoobynet) in the wet'

 

Looks very nice in black, not sure about Eric Clapton's yellow one though!

A factory worker said: "Most people leave here with their cars on a flatbed truck, but Eric left with a huge grin and insisted on driving it all the way back home."

I think yellow is nice. The black is awesome too. But, if it was me, it would have to be red for a Ferrari everytime!

I have met him too and he was a great laugh we were all in stitches trying to glaze his recording studio at his house He left his ferrari 550 on his drive with the keys in all day and had his F40 on the drive too He took one of the guys out in the F40 but I wasn't that lucky Apparently he was a fast driver but we all knew that anyway

Nice too see a true enthusiast buying such nice cars rather than someone who just has little else to spend their millions on and wants to appear cool.

 

Good on the lad - I'm sure he'll enjoy it a damn sight more than some pathetic old f*rt who's bought it just 'cos he can....

 

JK was at a studio in Milton Keynes a few years back and he and a mate were 'racing' around the town one evening. Mate who owns the studio had a knock at the door quite late from local plod saying that two Ferraris had been racing around and they could only think that they were staying at his place! Much panicked cleaning of ash trays etc!!!!!

Dont know what I'm more jealous of, new Ferrari or knowing you've slept with Denise Van O!!!!

 

Anybody every heard one of these in the flesh. I got the chance to follow one back in to Birmingham a few weeks ago, had to drive with all my windows down just to hear the engine noise when he gave it some. Absolutely amazing!

Cars are always better than sex.
If they whine you use MORE oil,
a breakdown is not an emotional crisis, just a financial one,
if you get bored you can stop,
the car never turns you down,
you can drive as many cars as you have access to,
and best of all good rubber will last more than one session.

 

And cars don't drive you round the bend... you get to drive them round corners
