Coming home from work tonight:

coming off a round-about there, is a walk-over bridge about 200-300 yards after it, see 2 little sh*ts hovering at the left hand side.

One then makes a movement with his hand as if he was throwing somethin'

He was, a stone about the size of a plumb (one of his if I catch the little FU**ER).

Braked and swerved, avoiding said stone hitting my Scoob.

What is wrong with these little barstewards, this could make a nasty mess of someones car, or even worse scare the crap out of someone causing them to swerve into the path of another vehicle.

Called the Rozzas, don't know if they would have been able to do much by time they got there though!

My dad and other people I know drive this route daily.

Little Cnunts hope you have a really crap life!!

(edited for crap spooling)

Heard in the news over the weekend that a lorry driver had been killed by a brick that had been thrown through the windscreen.

WTF is wrong with people that do this?

here you go mate a scoobynet friendly version

Coming home from work tonight:

coming off a round-about there, is a walk-over bridge about 200-300 yards after it, see 2 juvenile delinquents hovering at the left hand side.

One then makes a movement with his hand as if he was throwing somethin'

He was, a stone about the size of a plumb (one of his if I catch the little tearaway).

Braked and swerved, avoiding said stone hitting my Scoob.

What is wrong with these little scamps, this could make a nasty mess of someones car, or even worse scare the number two's out of someone causing them to swerve into the path of another vehicle.

Called the boys in blue, don't know if they would have been able to do much by time they got there though!

My dad and other people I know drive this route daily.

Little naughty boys hope you have a really sub-standard life!!

Same thing happned to my m8 in his cossie. Was travelling at around 70 mph and some little b*****d threw a brick over. He was so lucky it never hit the windscreen fortunaley it hit the road just landing before the car got there and ripped the splitter off.

...happened to me too a couple of years aho when I had a little Pug106GTI. Was caning it down the M40 westbound near Slough, spotted two kids on the bridge across the motorway ahead, didn't think much of it --> the next thing I knew, I was swerving wildly and in fact span out (luckily no other traffic involved )

--> they had thrown an entire house 'For Sale' sign off the bridge at me, you know the large ones attached to wooden poles outside houses (yes, including the pole itself). Because of it's sail-like qualities it was v. difficult for me to predict where it was going as well

anyhow little Pug saved me
that's the sort of thing that kills people

Last week near me the M3 was closed when a lorry driver was hit by a object that was thrown from a motorway bridge.
The lorry driver died, and the culprit(s) have yet to be found.
Can you think of anything more sickening?

Lookd like we're gonna need cctv cameras on all motorway footbridges now. Cant see any other way to prevent these mindless acts of stupidity.

I've reported kids on a bridge on the M3 before, whatever they through at the car I was in (passenager), it missed.

The Police, for obvious reasons, take these sort of things very seriously and do send a traffic car to investigate. So, if you see someone doing this, don't hessitate to call 999 before someone else has to due the resulting fatality.

Rgds, Alex

PS. Jameswrx - very funny, but if you have any constructive comments please add them to the thread you mentioned.

A friend of mine had this happen to him a few years ago while driving on open top car. He went off the road, flipped over several times and ended up having to have plastic surgery to reconstruct his face. The kids were never caught.

Grrr

happedned to me too diving my van up the M40 towards Banbury all of a sudden i see this objedt about the size of a small football heading at me and bang!!! It was a large clod of earth and it hit the top of my windscreen, bounced off and hit a volvo behind me as well. Fortunatley no damage done but mud everywhere.
Both me and the volvo stoppped on the hard shoulder but the (PC mode on) Pesky little critters (PC mode off) had vanished.

Danny Boy.
