Argh I'm at my witts end!
I'm stuck on the Defense Ministry level. I keep setting off the courtyard alarm and I can't find where I'm meant to switch it off.
I've even resorted to reading a walkthrough for the level and I've followed it to the letter and still the alarm goes off. Here's what the walkthrough tells me to do...
"If you have at least 2 bullets (I had 5), you're in good condition. Go back to the kitchen and grab a bottle from the window you came in, and then lower yourself to the floor right above the ground one in 'the main room'. Toss the bottle, and the first guard checks to see what it is. If you have 2 bullets or more, go for a headshot on him. If not, KO out. Then sneak behind the other guard, and KO him as well. Carry them into the darkest place you can find (you don't have to carry them into the kitchen's freezer, I just carried their bodies under the stairs), and check out the computer. Grab the data stick, and Lombert will call in to tell you a colonel is on his way, so hide under the stairs (doesn't matter which one).
The colonel wants to play some solitaire on his computer, so when he does, sneak up on him (DON'T KNOCK HIM OUT), and grab him. Now facing the computer, make your way to the
southwestern part still on the ground floor. Toss his head into the Eye scanner (stand next to the eye scanner with him and press A), and KO him. Hide his body, and enter that room you opened. Checkpoint... finally.
You should have one or more bullets, destroy that camera, and open that door to the courtyard."
But! when I go to open that door the alarm goes off. I've tried using the computer in the main hall time and time again but I don't get any new data stick.
Help me!!!!

- Did you really hide every single body in a shadow?? You have to hide them ALL in shadows/dark corners etc. throughout the whole level.
- I didn't have to shoot the camera, I just sneaked underneath it.
Check 'www.gamefaqs.com' for additional help!
BTW, If you already have troubles in this level, then good luck in the CIA-Level!!

All bodies hidden it's when I step on the floor right by the door into the courtyard. It's like the security grid is still active but I've been everywhere I was meant to and done everything that the walkthrough (from gamefaq) told me to do.
I'm right in thinking that computer (where the Colonel sits down at) is the one that deactivates the grid?
I used it, get told the colonel is coming, hide in the shadows, he sits down I grab him and firce him to use the retinal scanner, KO him, dump him in the shadows, go through the door, shoot the camera and the moment I step on the fllor next to the door the alarm sounds (without a warning that a body has been found).

YEAH, I am almost tempted to say, that I like SC better than Halo! I was playing the CIA-Headquarter for at least 8 hours!!! This includes my little Basketball 'game', where I threw as many coke-cans into the bins without being spoted!! *lol*
