I've just been cruising the NG alt.autos.subaru and I came across the posting below. Either the guy is having a laugh or he is one of our "care in the community citizens" (no offence to the genuine care in the community people). Read on and enjoy....this is absolute quality. I'm off to casualty to have my side stitched.

This guy is just a pratt who is always making stupid posts about Subaru's in the newsgroup
I don't think he likes Subarus and just wants to wind everybody up by getting them to retaliate - best to just ignore his posts - although I did think this one was rather amusing

Here in North America you have to purchase a 'Trunk Monkey' to garner any sort of worthwhile perfromance from the RS 2.5
I was wondering whether I could get a group buy going on the associated air hoses?
Also, instead of Helium in the tyres, could this be linked to some form of NO2 system
Anyways, if someone wants to swap the relevent hoses for a slightly used trunk monkey... let me know

A man after my own heart. Incredibly, I did actually calculate how much unsprung weight you would save by filling your tyres with helium (the answer is around 100g per wheel with 205/50-16 tyres!)
Sad or what...

Ah, you don't want a Trunk Monkey. Get a Trunk Gorilla instead. A bit thirstier, and bit laggier, but so much more power. Call HKS and ask for one. Although I believe Blitz are due to release one soon.

To All: Taff is correct about rotating the subaru air. I drained out all the subaru air , (due to lack of genuine subaru tire air-exchange tools), and then I tried to install SAE (american) air and it wouldn't fit. I then had to go to the subaru dealer and order direct from japan some metric air for a direct replacement. Geeze it took 2 weeks for delivery, Its a good thing subaru had "loner tires" that they let me use!!..
Rumor has it that some local service stations will now be installing metric air pumps to accomadate subaru owners.. What a relief. I lost so much sleep over this....
