I did one at thruxton
Its great fun
if you do a time trial like we did, the idea is NOT to skid, so just go incredibly slow and watch everyone else lose it!

Yeh light delicate touches on the throttle is key, however u can use half to full throttle balancing it with opposite lock whilst turning with rear wheel drive, if u get too much understeer with front wheel drive or your scoob? even when lifting off the throttle, dip the clutch momentarily to, this will kill drive to the wheels and should give you some grip back. With rear wheel drive its all sideways action thou on the throttle and dialling in the opposite lock, quick hands are useful if u want to go quicker, if u get too much of a slide on, it usually ends in a spin, keep your feet off the brake though I did one at castle combe not long ago, using old banged up BMW 318s and Rover 216s, and came 1st overall Also did the 4X4 course in a landrover, which was just as much fun.

Wink

Cheers,
Will be a timed event at the end, so think i will have to take it easy for once
Will not be taking the p1 on the pan as it is a hydraulic cradle set up. Can therefore be adjusted to handle like rwd/fwd etc-should be fun

Not so much that, more that the levels of grip can be adjusted independently at the front and rear to give different types of grip loss.

It's worth pushing it until you do lose it on at least one run, just to find out where the limits are.

You'll be surprised how much grip you actually have. (Well I was anyway! )
