A few of us have decided to make a visit. Friday looks good - will it be quieter than the weekend? On the website it says its a Motor Sport day - what difference does this make??
Also is there a better place to park away from NEC and get a park n ride bus in or similar??

Gonna turn up about 11am and buy tickets on the door, hopefully the early moring queue's would have gone by then 
Gknows what the motorsport day is??? Hopefully it'll involve pit girls though

In previous years Motor Sport day has meant that some manufacturers have their race drivers visiting and their race cars might be on display. Therefore you may find F1 cars on the Jag stand or the Focus WRC car on the Ford stand etc.

Im hoping that it means there is some form of driving comp to have a go on and win a prize.
I think we will book some tickets tomorrow just to make sure its not a wasted trip. Will also be aiming to arrive 11-12 as well so we dont have to bother joining the masses and rush hour early morning. Will probably stay late again to miss the traffic on the return leg.

Scoobynet hits the motorshow on Friday then, I'm going too
I've been on Motorsport day before, you get a few cars wiv stickers on, it's great!

I'm going Friday also, travelling from Gravesend. I intend to get there @ 9, i.e before it opens. Past experence has told me that going in at 9:30 will give me about 1 hr to go where I like before the crouds start..

Just a word of warning allow yourselves plenty of time for traffic if this Friday's anything like last Friday!
Normally takes me about 2.5 hours to get to the NEC (A14/M6) but last week we left at 7.30am & got in to the show at 12.00!!! Then left at 3.30 and got home at 9!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not a lot there that you can't see in a car showroom...........
