Well, after 6-months of waiting I've just driven the new WRX home. Yeehah!

Straight off the ferry (17 hour crossing) at Rosyth and straight home plateless - no problems.

Now if only the busy Glasgow VRO could process the reggie before tomorrow.........

Wink

Was it a massive saving over the UK dealer price? Mine is delivered on Friday and I paid the new price but got a good p/x on a mustard Legacy saloon!

Hope it gives you loads of safe fun!

:-)

Total cost (including collection costs, all taxes etc) was around £16K4. (Savings eroded due to recent price drops though).

The dealer just slapped on his Belgium trade plates and I drove it 45miles to the port where he removed them. At the other end, it was just a knowing smile from the Rosyth port police and customs who waved it through without any checks at all for my only permitted plateless drive home.

Pretty easy really, though sleeping on the ferry floor was an experience. Must compare notes with water-bed enthusiasts.

Nice one Will

Get the cats off and pop across to Crail before the season ends.

That's a great saving. Hmmm. Oh well, too late now :-(

Does the 60,000 mile/3 yr warranty hold with that?

:-)
