Sorry probably not the most appropriate forum but.....I am running my Type R on 16" standard wheels at present.Would I see the most significant improvement in handling by fitting good 17 inchers or the Leda B kit.I cannot afford both!! Cheers,Deep.

If you've got decent rubber on the 16":ers (ooerr), I'd say the Leda's.

I'd go for 17" alloys, but if you planning a few track days the Leda B will knock more seconds of you lap times

I dont think its a fair comparison!

Clearly the Leda B is the best by a long, long way

When you have some money you could uprate the alloys - you'd spend your money better by going for 18's - cos even the new Scoobs are on 17's. 18's handle much better - and you dont need to spend the rip off prices that are floating around for the P1 jobbies

you should be able to get a cheap set from New Age Motorsport

Oh.. and while where at it - why Leda B? - are you talking brand new - there are supposedly better kits around - like DMS (Drummond Motor Sport) - supposed to knock the socks and be more durable than the Leda kit! - a tad pricier - but there are distributors out there that will do it for reasonable prices if you opt for the right one!

Deep, you will have to go via Scoobysport to get the leda on your motor.

R U sure about that Danny, after all Leda builds the struts according to what Pete orders from them.

But then again, buying them from Pete, and going to Braintree to have them installed doesn't make much difference.
