Just had my ins renewal from AXA. A very nice £911 fully comp with PNCB. A tiny £125 damage XS. But a slight flaw - I havent declared my upgraded wheels and the blitz I should be putting on any day now. So just called em up and told them the wheels with new tyres were worth about £1000 (Prodrive 7 17's with Toyos) and a performance exhaust at £340 that adds about 5bhp. Guy went away for a few mins to check and came back and said "no extra charge for those mods". Damn I nearly fainted - was expecting at least £50 extra

One happy punter. Makes up for all the other bollocks that have happened since I got my scoob (keying, boot dent etc).

Simon.

I have had a few similar experiences with Direct Line!

Call them up to declare downpipe and Centre section (already had backbox declared) and get told oh thats all classed as one single modification! no extra charge!

Perhaps cos PPP is quite a big jump in BHP - although that would just be a guess on my behalf.

Phoned my insurance company (A-plan)the other day to declare the AP 6 pots, full exhaust system and morrette headlights that i'd fitted to my STI5 Type-r, only to be told there would be no extra charge.....and yes they did confirm this in writing

Happy or what!!!
