just wondered what people do? fitted the exhaust ss dp on yesterday, and could hear the car coming from about half a mile away in the house when my gf came, waiting for the neighbours complaints soon!

After leaving the car running a while for the turbo doesn't help.

any complaints??

Luckily I live on a bank so late at night I come in down hill and coast in so no noise!!

ive got a full ss exhaust, work shifts, never had a complaint, id tell them where to go, its alright for their kids to wake me shouting and screaming when im trying to sleep after nites or when i go to bed early before a morning shift

Fortunately my neighbours are 65 and 75 years old, car nuts, and hard of hearing! So no problems (apart from having to give them a test drive every now and again). Also resorted to bringing an even noisier car (but with original road legal system home one day) - one neighbour thought his house would fall down with the vibrations.

Ive got a full scooby sport, and have to shift other cars off the drive to get at mine, so when the scoobs out i let it run while i **** on with the other cars and my neighbour said she vibrates in her bed, but im not sure if thats me or something else?

Fingers x'd as i just got a blitz NURspec centre & back fitted & it's a tad loud! Sadly i rent a garage which happens 2 sit infront of an insomniac & while i have been asked 2 return @ decent hours b4 i feel the unleashed boxer burble may soon mean it's time 2 get me coat or i may always just put the silencer in that may alleviate trubble 4 a few days

I fell out with mine last year and am now taking them to court, so I really don't worry anymore!
We both share a fairly steep drive to get to our houses, so late at night I sometimes have to give it a little rev to get up that steep hill

Why not just offer them a ride? That way they'll have flash backs to the ride every time they hear the car & so stop complaining. Of course you may then never get rid of them!

i think i've started a thing in the mansfield area there was only 2 or 3 scoobies when i got mine now theres about bloody 8 its just not on and they dont wave .i took my m8 who lives next door, out in the car, now i need a new door card he left his hand print on the old 1 lol.

si the baby does work because when he doesnt sleep i take him out in the car at all hours lol

Back when I was living with my parents in the US, we made plenty of noise. Dad in a 300ZX TT with Greddy exhaust, me in Honda with a worthless melon shooter, and brother with a 300ZX TT with B&B exhaust and Datsun 510 w/ race exhaust. All we needed was a Harley. Luckily we had good relationships with all the neighbors so no problems. However, I'm sure they're glad that my bro & I are gone. Dad gets his new 350Z in a couple of weeks only to be sold right away since an Infinity G35 coupe is on the way.

My neighbour is a car nut as has a 7ltr V8 on the drive with 3 1/2 inch straight through pipes. The scoob will never make that much noise, what ever I do to it!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to be holding a party in my back garden in the next few weeks. Consisting mainly of hardcore rave music. I'm being nice and onlt going on till 2 am
Also have the astra and the 3-door to contend with but at idle their not too bad.

whe the git rolls up the road.

TSL decat system and magnex back with no complaints yet from the neigbours yet, they only complained when i used to do doughnuts in the Rallycar spoilsports
