I saw your post on ScoobyNet so I thought you might appreciate a bit of info if you are thinking about tripping over to Florida for a week or two.

IIRC there are over 15000 members on scoobynet. Obviously thats registered accounts so probably a far few less regular users.

I would try and help you mate but me and my friends all have contacts for holiday homes over in Florida.

Oh - I don't know if I mentioned it but I went over last week to have a short break myself and I installed a DVD player plus a few DVD's. It plays region 1 at the mo but I am on the look out for a region hack for an Emerson ewd7002 so it'll play uk dvd's too - which would be nice !

I'd be very interested but not this year, unfortunately.Florida is deffo on the cards for the next couple of years(when my son's a bit older, 2 yrs at the mo).

2 yrs is a bit young for the little one to really appreciate the magic.

We took Frankie out there when she was 5 and the magic for us was watching her watch the Magic of Disney. Still cannot forget the look on her face as the midnight parade passed by in the Magic Kingdom on Xmas Eve. I have to tell you that if you could bottle the atmosphere of that night you would be fantastically rich.

I see you are a NW resident. I used to live in Macc a few years back - Still visit family etc. If you fancy a visit to Florida when your little 'un is 5 or thereabouts let me know. I'd be very happy to do all I could to let you share the same experience.

That said - you are looking at December 2005. If you want it - You can have it - Just say the word !

Thanks for the offer, Mark.

If you've still got the place when I decide to make the trip, then I'd certainly be keen.
I'm sure there are loads of places to book, but I'd obviously prefer to help out a Scoobynetter if I can.
The missus liked the look of it, so that's a good start!

I know Macc, it's just up 10 minutes up the road from me.If you're ever gonna be in the area, give me a shout.Could have a meet for a pub lunch or similar.(must have a ball pool for Oliver, though!!)

Gaz - Thanks for the HACK site. I'll check that out to see if I can get the DVD sorted. (Bigger telly is next on shopping list)

SPJ - glad your Mrs liked the look of the place - we really want to be sure it is a home from home so if you want to re check the website in about 2-3 weeks you will hopefully see a link to a 3D fully immersive interactive tour. (I'd only try it if you have Broadband or similar connex speed !)

X-Scooby - We have had a lot of interest for dates more than 12 months off and some people have said that they cannot get flights.
Apparently some carriers won't release seats until nearer the time.

If you have any problems getting flights give me a call / email as I may be able to help. ( Example. I got 5 x 1st Class seats on a 747 flying to Sanford for less than £5000)

WheelWright - Hmmmm Shy bairns get nee sweets but your takin' the pee Drop me a line with the dates you're looking for.

my missus has been asked to be maid of honour for her best mate when the time comes,. She lives in Indianapolis but plans on getting hitched at Disneyland.
I suppose that means me and her and Jas,8, louise,6,will all have to go
When i showed my missus she said book it straight away. Shame her mate hasn't set a date yet
