Imports are not only cheaper, but better spec'd too in terms of performance and toys. Your UK Subaru waranty that you hold so dear is soooo easy to nulify, that one can hardly justify it. Try racing on the tracks or change to a Performance spark plug and you'll say goodbye to your waranty..

Angry

This looks like an advert to me, when I look at the profile I notice X2WRX is a Subaru Dealer.

Probably 10K miles a year, plus the car will have to be in showroom condition when it is handed back.

As that is unlikely to happen unless it sits in a garage for the two years, I'm sure a further £500 will be added to the cost to tart the car up for resale.

Fulham71,

I think you would lose a lot more than that if you bought a brand new WRX and sold it after 2 years.

You think so?

I doubt it. LOL

As far as contract hire deals go, thats pretty cheap. Compare to HP costs with £1000 deposit and factor in depreciation. £7k for two years is, in reality, not that expensive.

I Think thats a pretty good deal.

Also don't forget if you're leasing it as a company car, you can only claim back the VAT on the service element and not the actual hire payments. My last car was on contract lease and it really wasn't worth it tbh, you may as well buy a euro import outright if you're looking for a cheap WRX.

Having purchased a MY00 on a PCP and having sold it after 22 months I can confirm that that is a pretty good deal.

Wish it was available when I got mine!

It's scoobynet policy, not to allow commercial advertising on the BBS without paying for a banner ad first. This ensures that suppliers who pay for the rights to advertise(and therefore help keep scoobynet running) are not at a disadvantage to those who do not.

You can contact Simon at the webmasters email address (webmaster@scoobynet.co.uk) to discuss things further(including having a banner ad)
