Some days I get in the Scooby & drive...& the steering feels a little limp & the engine feels a little rough & the handling seems a little wooly & the power seems a little down & the clutch judders a little (or a lot !!)
And some days I get in & the car feels alive ! The steering is quick the engine sounds & feels sweet as a nut & I go round bends with the skill & precision of McRae & she feels as fast as a Ferrari & the clutch doesn't even think about juddering.....
Or is it just me ??

Me too. Sometimes it feels like the alignment is out and its pulling a bit. Other days it feels like it's straight out of the factory......Strange. Starting to get used to the imperfections now!

This is what we call "character". "Character" is usually used to excuse defects in the design of a vehicle.
Ducatis aren't unreliable, they have "character".
Alfa Romeos don't have **** electrics, they have "character"
Subaru's aren't unrefined and tempremental they have "character".
Thank God at least one Japanese manufacturer has discovered it

all my cars have done it, the fiesta is a right bugger for it
I also think it's linked to the rise in fuel consumption towards the end of the month
